Issues to pay attention to when using a self-loading concrete mixer

27 Nov , 2025

Pre-operation checks:
Check that the equipment base and support are stable, the motor belt is not loose, and the power lines are undamaged.
Ensure there are no foreign objects in the mixing drum, the hopper track operates smoothly, and the discharge gate opens and closes freely.

Operating Procedures:
Add water first, then aggregate, and finally cement, in that order. Do not insert hands or tools into the mixing drum while it is in operation.
Aggregate particle size should be ≤30mm, and the amount of material added should not exceed the rated capacity (e.g., 5 cubic meter model).
During transportation, the mixing drum rotation speed should be maintained at 2-10 revolutions per minute, and the vehicle speed should be ≤40 km/h.

Safety Precautions:
Safety helmets, safety glasses, and non-slip gloves must be worn.
No one is allowed to stand under the hopper when it is raised; the hopper must be locked during maintenance.
Immediately stop the machine and cut off the power if any unusual noise, electrical leakage, or other abnormalities occur.

Maintenance and Care:
Thoroughly clean the mixing drum after each use, and check the blade clearance (2-5mm at the bottom of the drum, 8-12mm at the drum wall).
Drain the water tank in winter, change the gearbox oil regularly, and ensure the V-belt tension is appropriate.
